Skype™ Therapy is a popular alternative or additional form of counseling for those people unwilling or unable to attend face-to-face sessions.

As I explained in a 2014 article for Reconnect magazine (UK), I have been working in this way for some time:

I started about 15-20 years ago, when I opened up in London, UK and started to see A-listers, people in the public eye and people in the entertainment business. They would have to go away on location or would be tied up in meetings, so working with me by telephone at that time was the only way to continue effective work – and it was effective.

Now that we have Skype™ video conferencing, it has opened up even more doors.

Skype™ Therapy offers a time-saving alternative to travelling to the therapy office. It enables clients to access the help they need from almost anywhere. For example, they can access therapy while on holiday, on a business trip or from the safety and comfort of their own homes. Skype™ Therapy also eliminates the extra hassle and time involved in traveling and parking or public transport hassles.

I have worked stringently to create the right precautions and put effective procedures in place to make my Skype™ Therapy as secure and confidential as the therapy in my practice rooms. For more information on security please visit the Frequently Asked Questions page.

A few of my clients were skeptical about Skype™ Therapy at first, but now they wouldn’t have it any other way. And Skype™ therapy is not just for the young. People of all ages work with me in this way; in fact, my eldest client is in her 80s! Some prefer to work with Skype™ only and others prefer Intensive Therapy™ sessions.
